A Stroud man was arrested recently and faces a felony and four misdemeanors after he allegedly kicked in the door of a woman’s house.

Zachary Othell Roberts, 41, was formally charged in Lincoln County District on June 8 with first degree burglary, a felony. He also faces three counts of threatening to perform an act of violence and a single charge of trespassing after being forbidden.

Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk set bond for Roberts at $5,000 with the condition he have no contact with the victim. She scheduled his initial appearance for 1:30 p.m. July 1.

The first degree burglary count accuses Roberts of breaking and entering into the house occupied by Rhonda York at 304 N. Allied Road in Stroud. The charge states at that time inside the house were York, Sarah Kilgore and James Kilgore.

Roberts allegedly kicked in the front door of the house and entered without the consent of those in it with the intent to commit the crime of threatening acts of violence.
