Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to divvy up equally the apportionment ratio of County Improvement Road and Bridge funds.
With their vote, they each will receive 33 and a third percent of the funds.
The board reappointed District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen as chairman and they appointed District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller as vice chairman.
Doolen said the road and bridge improvement funds will vary from month to month.
They also adopted a resolution setting the filing period and the date for the Fair Board Election.
The filing period will be Jan. 24-28 and the election will be on Feb. 15.
Candidates will file with the County Clerk’s office during that week and voters will cast the ballots at the County Clerk’s Office as well.
Commissioners approved a contract with Gunter Training for HR Consulting pending approval by the District Attorney’s Office.
County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained the contract will be for six months, it will cost $1,200 a month and she will pay for it out of her cash account, she advised commissioners.
Wagnon said after the six months, it will be on an hourly basis of $150 an hour as needed.
The commissioners again took no action on Elected Officials’ salaries.
In other action, the commissioners:
Approved an application for a DEQ grant for the Sheriff’s Office.
Approved a surplus property transfer agreement between the city of Edmond and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Approved the 2021 Commissary/Inmate Trust Financial Report.
Held off making changes or approving the Lincoln County Handbook. Wagnon said that was not ready yet but would be by the next meeting.
Took no action on use of property known as Tryon Yard in District 2.
Approved a Declaration of Surplus for the County Clerk’s Office and District 2,
Took no action on selling county property in the SW corner of 15-12-2.
Approved new Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Compliance Certificates for Green Gate Farms LLC, McLemore Genetics and Medileaves LLC.
Approved renewal of OMMA Compliance Certificates for Native Roots Pharm Products LLC.
