Chandler’s boys powerlifting team won the small school championship at the Northeast Regional championship and advanced 18 lifters to the state meet, which is Saturday in El reno.
There were 31 boys teams represented at the meet. Chandler set a new school record by qualifying 18 lifters for state.
- Blake Rickner was the Regional Champion in the 145 lb. class.
- Ty Garver 2nd Place in the 145 lb. class.
- Trevor Sutton 2nd Place in the 168 lb. class.
- Stran Messer 2nd Place in the 181 lb. class.
- Josh Baugher 3rd Place in the 123 lb. class.
- Stefaun Mackey 3rd Place in the 157 lb. class.
- Casmen Hill 3rd Place in the 181 lb. class.
- Carson Clagg 3rd Place in the 198 lb. class.
- Jacob Ostrowski 3rd Place in the 220 lb. class.
- Chaden Sullivan 3rd Place in the 275 lb. class. - Felix Cargill 4th Place in the 123 lb. class.
- Dalton Fowble 5th Place in the 181 lb. class.
- Dezmon Taliaferro 5th Place in the 198 lb. class.
- Kaled Foster 5th Place in the 220 lb. class.
- Jaxton Raper 5th Place in the HWT class.
- Brayden Nation and Cruz Jackson were atlarge state qualifiers in the 157 lb. class.
- Caden Scribner was an at-large state qualifier in the 132 lb. class.
The girls finished third qualified four for the state meet, which is Monday.
There were 30 teams represented at the meet.
- Grace Hulsey was the Regional Champion in the 108 lb. class.
- Kalee Peery placed 3rd in the 121 lb. class and Shayla Peery placed 5th in the 121 lb. class.
- Leah Brannon was an at-large state qualifier in the 165 lb. class.
The Chandler junior high boys were the Regional Runner-Ups in the 9th Grade Division. Chandler had 15 boys qualify for the junior high state meet.
- 7th Grade-Collin Strickland was the Regional Champion in the 114 lb. class.
- Laken Weber 4th Place in the 168 lb. class.
- 8th Grade-Michael McDaniel was the Regional Champion in the 132 lb. class.
- 9th Grade-Felix Cargill was the Regional Champion in the 123 lb. class.
- Ty Garver was the Regional Champion in the 145 lb. class.
- Cruz Jackson was the Regional Champion in the 168 lb. class.
