Prague High School named Cade Anderson, Payton Camren, Leslie Clark, Trip Davis, Connor Davis, Eli Greenlee, Hollan McClendon, Alauna Parker, Olivia Claire Sanders, and Maggie Smith as Valedictorians and Mattie Rich, Kylie Pickard and Taylor Young as Salutatorians for 2022.
The students were recognized at the commencement ceremony, Friday, May 13.
Cade Anderson
The son of Ryan and Bryna Anderson, Valedictorian Cade Anderson has attended Prague Schools since pre-k and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
Anderson has been named student of the month and was a three time state qualifier, won the area championship in skeet shooting, and placed second in area skeet shooting twice.
He is a member of the National Honors Society and participated in Future Farmers of America.
Additionally, he helped with Little League football, trash service, tree and lawn service.
After graduation, he plans to attend OSU-OKC for power transmission and distribution to be a certified lineman.
Payton Camren
Valedictorian Payton Camren is the child of Mark and Amanda Camren and has attended Prague Schools for thir-teen years. She holds a 4.0 grade point average.
Camren has captained varsity cross country, varsity basketball, and varsity track. She is senior class vice president, served as Business Professionals of America vice president, secretary of the National Honor Society, and was named Pride of Prague Chamber student of the month.
She participated in National Honor Society, student council, Business Professionals of America, yearbook staff, prom committee, BancFirst Bank Board, Vision Bank Bank Board, Prague High School Business and Information Technology Advisory Committee, and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State.
Additionally, Camren was involved in Garden Grove Youth Group and little league.
She has worked for Prague Pool and taught piano lessons.
After graduation, she plans to attend Seminole State College on PLC.
Leslie Clark
The child of Tonya and Robert Clark, Lesilie Clark has attended Prague Schools for fourteen years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
She has been named to the superintendent’s honor roll in 2019-2022, SSC Superintendent Honor Roll in 2020 and Fall 2021 and SSC Principal’s Honor Roll in Spring 2021.
In January and November of 2021, she was named PEB Student of the Month, and was named Chamber of Commerce’s Student of the Month in Sept. 2021.
Clark was named to the Fastpitch Academic All-Conference in 2020 and served as Pride of Prague Drum Major during her senior year.
She was also recognized through Band Sweepstakes in 2018-2021 and the Oklahoma Honor Society in 2019-2022.
In 2020, she served as a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Delegate, and then as an Oklahoma Girls State Delegate in 2021. She was selected as junior of the year in 2021, and received the Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative Youth Tour Scholarship.
Clark has participated in band in 2017-2022, including as band manager and drum major, and she captained the academic team in 2018-2022. She served on student council in 2018-2022 and was the vice president of Book Club in 2020 before becoming president in 2021- 2022.
Additionally, Clark participated in Business Professionals of America in 2018-2022, cheer team in 2018, National Honor Society in 2020-2022
She was on the cheer team in 2018 and softball team in 2018-2021, as well as being Speech and Debate Team president in 2018-2021. Clark also served on prom committee in 2021-2022 and yearbook in 2021-2022.
Clark is on the Edmond First United Methodist Youth Leadership Team, is a Certified Lay Servant in the United Methodist Church and is United Methodist Oklahoma Conference Youth Council Missions Chairperson.
After graduation, Clark plans to attend Seminole State College and receive her associate’s degree in business management, transfer to University of Central Oklahoma and get her bachelor’s degree in early childhood development and psychology.
Cecil ‘Trip’ Benny Davis III
Valedictorian Cecil “Trip” Benny Davis III has attended Prague Schools for 13 years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
He has been honored as captain of his football, basketball and baseball teams and was named 2A All-star in football, and All-Conference in all three sports. Additionally, he was named to both VYPE’s Top 100 football and basketball player lists.
Davis served as Vice-President of National Honor Society and was named Best All-Around in his senior class.
He participated in the BancFirst and Vision Bank bank boards, and National Honor Society.
In his community, he said he tries to be someone for the younger kids to look up to.
After graduation, he plans to play college football and figure out what he wants to do when he gets there.
Connor Davis
The son of Clay and Amber Davis, Connor Davis has attended Prague Schools for fourteen years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
The valedictorian was named district defensive lineman of the year. Davis was named to the superintendent’s honor roll for four years, and the Seminole State College president’s honor roll for two years, as well as to Academic All-Conference.
He has participated for three years in the National Honor Society.
Davis played football for four years, and captained the football team for two. He also played baseball for three years and captained the baseball team for one year. For two years, Davis participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA).
After graduation, Davis plans to attend Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. He will be a member of the Lion football team there and plans to major in engineering.
Eli Greenlee
Valedictorian Eli Greenlee is the child of Chad and Stehanie Greenlee and has attended Prague Schools since tenth grade.
He holds a 4.0 grade point average and received the Academic Letter Jacket recognition in 2021.
In athletics, Greenlee has been named to Academic All-Conference for baseball and football, as well as being named All-District Honorable Mention Special-Teams Deep Snapper.
He was named to Oklahoma American Legion Boys State in 2021, The Leadership Experience by Oklahoma State University in 2021, and Vision Bank Financial Leadership Council in 2021- 2022. He participated in Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership in 2020 and received the Lions’ Club Award for Science in 2020-2021.
Additionally, Greenlee participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA), including as Chapter secretary in 2021- 2022, chapter treasurer in 2020-2021 and as a member, since 2017. He served on student council, on the executive council as historian in 2021, class treasurer in 201, and an active member since 2017.
He also participated in his chapter of the National Honor Society, beginning in 2019, including as class treasurer in 2021.
Starting in 2019, Greenlee has participated in Youth For Christ/Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In his community, Greenlee served with a foster sibling camp, collected supplies for the Ft. Gibson flood, leveled the infield and mended nets for baseball program, served at Prague’s Christmas in the Park, worn a soup can costume to collect food on Trick-or-Treat night, chauffeured younger students to stock local food pantries for holidays, played guitar for youth worship, helped set up for Falls Creek, and served at Vacation Bible School.
He worked for Two Guys Mowing, working weekends in the Spring and Fall and weekdays in the Summer. He also worked welding and construction.
After graduation, he plans to attend Oklahoma State University (OSU) and major in biosystem engineering and serve as a freshman research scholar to better develop a sense of where he can best excel and contribute. His career goal is to support the betterment of rural Oklahoma while preserving the attributes of its small communities.
Hollan McClendon
The child of Jennifer and Delvin McClendon, Valedictorian Hollan McClendon has attended Prague Schools for 12 years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
Named Lions Club Student of the Year, McClendon participated in Business Professionals of America, student council, National Honor Society, Skills USA, and Youth for Christ.
After graduation, she plans to attend Oklahoma Christian University, to major in computer science.
Alauna Parker
The child of Aletha Woodfork and Rodrick Woodfork, Valedictorian Alauna Parker has attended Prague Schools for nine years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
She has been recognized with an Academic Letter Jacket, and named to Academic All-Conference.
Parker participated in Business Partners of America, the National Honor Society and student council.
After graduation, she plans to attend Langston University to major in biology and then go into their physical therapy program.
Olivia Claire Sander
The daughter of Kevin and Susie Sander, Valedictorian Olivia Claire Sander has attended Prague Schools for 13 years and holds a 4.0 grade point average.
She served as varsity cheer captain, senior class historian, and yearbook photo editor. She was named Pride of Prague Chamber Student of the Month, 2021 Girls State Delegate, and Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) delegate in 2020 and leader/counselor in 2021-2022.
Sander participated in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, student council, Business Professionals of America, yearbook committee, Health Occupations Students of America, Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, BancFirst Bank Board and Vision Bank Bank Board.
In the community, she participates in Prague First Baptist youth group, youth praise & technical team, and is a Prague Little League Cheer Coach.
Sander works as a Prague Elementary Afterschool program student aid/teacher.
After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma on the “Leaders of Tomorrow” scholarship and major in nursing to achieve her KN/BSN. She hopes to become a pediatric nurse.
Maggie Smith
Salutatorian Maggie Smith is the daughter of Doug and Regina Smith and has attended Prague Schools for fourteen years. She holds a 4.0 grade point average.
Smith served as varsity basketball captain, varsity golf captain, yearbook chief editor, senior class president and executive president, Business Professionals of America president, and National Honors Society president. She was named Chamber student of the month.
She participated in National Honors Society, Student Council Business Professionals of America, yearbook staff, BancFirst Bank Board, Vision Bank Student Board, American Legion Auxiliary Girls State and Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership.
She worked at Prague Pool as a lifeguard.
After graduation, she plans to play golf at Seminole State college.
Mattie Rich
The daughter of Jeramy and Cambar Rich, Salutatorian Mattie Rich has attended Prague Schools for 13 years and holds a 3.98 grade point average.
A Future Farmers of America Member of the Year for four years, Rich has served as an FFA officer, a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership delegate, and a Girls State Delegate. She captained varsity basketball, and was named to Academic-All-Conference basketball and 1st Team All-Conference for basketball.
She participated in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, basketball team, student council, prom committee, Vision Bank Bank Board, and BancFirst Bank Board.
In the community, she was involved in Prague First Baptist.
After graduation, she plans to attend college and law school to become a lawyer.
Kylie Pickard
The daughter of Brandon and Tara Pickard, Salutatorian Kylie Pickard has attended Prague Schools for 14 years and holds a 3.98 grade point average.
She has been named to Seminole State President’s Honor Roll and Prague Superintendent’s Honor Roll. She received the Lions Club Award for Algebra in 2019, and Algebra II in 2021, and for English in 2021.
Pickard participated in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of Seminole State, Vision Bank Board, BancFirst Bank Board, National Honor Society, student council and Business Professionals of America.
In the community, she served through local food drives, taking food and supplies with my church to Falls Creek and writing letters to nursing homes.
She worked as a lifeguard during Summer 2021 and worked at Tendercare Daycare Center in Meeker.
After graduation, Pickard plans to attend Seminole State by enrolling in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Upon receiving her PTA degree, she then plans to continue her education to become a physical therapist.
Taylor Young
Salutatorian Taylor Young is the child of Amber and Jason
Other organizations with which she has volunteered include Family Promise, Fireball Classic Race, and International Youth Finals Rodeo
Previously, Frerichs worked two summers at Shawnee Splash, lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons.
And this summer, she has been hired by Gordon Cooper Technology Center to teach at their kids camp.
After that, she plans to attend East Central University (ECU) in Fall 2022 as a Pre-Engineering major before transferring to a different college as an undecided engineering major.
