NRC senior Jace McRay was named the North Canadian River Conference defensive player of the year and was joined on the all-conference first team by Jordan Coody and Devon Haney.
David King and Caleb Hawkins were named honorable mentions for the Cougars, who made the school’s first-ever appearance in the state tournament this season.
Olivia Stacy was named to the all-conference first team and Kadence Munn was chosen as the newcomer of the year. Katlyn Masquas and Olivia McRay were named honorable mentions.
