The preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for a former Wellston substitute teacher facing four sex-related felonies with minors following an investigation by Lincoln County officers and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on April 12 against Emma Delaney Hancock, 26.
The following day, April 13, Hancock appeared before Special Judge Emily Mueller.
She entered a not guilty plea before Judge Mueller, was ordered to process through the jail and her bond was set at $50,000.
On June 22, Judge Mueller scheduled her preliminary hearing for 9 a.m. Aug. 18.
It’s now been scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 12. Hancock is charged with two counts of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor and two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16.
