Chandler Board of Education members this week approved the hiring of a new maintenance director and approved the district mileage reimbursement rate for 2024.
School Supt. Scott Baade said Casey Lawrence is the new maintenance director who has started work.
Board members set the mileage reimbursement rate at 67 cents per mile for calendar year 2024, Baade stated.
After evaluating the superintendent, Baade said board members kept his contract at three years. Next year will be the second year of his contract, he said.
