The Assistant Police Chief of Prague and his wife have been arrested on numerous counts of child sexual abuse and physical abuse.
Jeffrey Louis Frisbie, 55, longtime Prague police officer and his wife Kimberly Ann Frisbie, 50, were taken into custody and taken to the Lincoln County jail. Each immediately posted $100,00 bonds and they have been released from jail.
They have been ordered to make their initial appearances in court at 1 p.m. Sep. 26.
Prague city officials confirmed that Frisbie is currently on administrative leave.
Even though no formal charges have been filed in Lincoln County District Court, a probable cause affidavit for issuance of felony arrest warrant lists two counts of first degree rape again Jeff Frisbie and 22 counts of lewd counts with a child under 16.
The affidavit of probable cause for issuance of felony arrest warrant for Kimberly Ann Frisbie lists 17 counts of physical child abuse against her.
District Attorney Adam Panter said while he expects formal charges to be filed against the pair sometime this week, he is not certain about the date.
Panter issued this statement following the arrest of the pair.
“After a swift and aggressive investigation conducted by investigators with the District 23 District Attorney’s Office, the City of Prague Assistant Chief of Police, Jeff Frisbie and his wife Kim Frisbie were arrested for numerous counts of child sexual abuse and physical abuse. The fact that one of the arrested was a member of law enforcement, in a position of trust within the community, is both disappointing and appalling.
“Despite this, my office is committed to seeking justice without taking into consideration a perpetrator’s profession or social status.
“While I am unable to comment on the details of the investigation, I can say that we look forward to presenting the evidence in a court of law in an effort to ensure justice on behalf of the victims and for the State of Oklahoma.”
