Pig Roast Nov. 2

The Lincoln County 4-H is hosting a pig roast, auction and its fourth annual pie contest on Nov. 2 at the Agri-Civic Center.

The meal starts at 6:30 p.m. with the auction kicking off at 7 p.m. All of the proceeds will benefit Lincoln County 4-H members and activities throughout the year. Tickets for the pig roast are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Kids five and under with an adult purchase can eat free.

Pie bakers are welcome to enter the pie contest. Contestants must bake two pies, exactly alike. One will be judged and served at the Pig Roast, while the other will be auctioned off to raise money for 4-H trips and scholarships.

The contest is open to current Lincoln County 4-H members, Lincoln County 4-H alumni, parents and grandparents of current members or alumni, and Lincoln County OHCE and Lincoln County Cattle Producer members.

Contact the OSU Extension office by Oct. 30 to preenter and entries can be dropped off at the Agri-Civic Center on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.
