Lions of the Month announced

Brynn Lewis, Elizabeth Myers and James Fine were named Lions of the Month for November by the Lions Club in Chandler.

Brynn Lewis has a 3.37 GPA and is in AP English. She has been a member of the National Society of High School Scholars for a year and won the OSSAA Varsity Cheerleading Academic Achievement Award two years in a row.

Lewis has been a member of varsity cheer for two years, varsity stunt for two years, Positive Peers for one year and is part of the Native American Student Association.

Lewis’ community service activities include Adopt a Child for three years, working at the Halloween Carnival for two years, helping at the Ice Cream Festival for one year and Relay for Life for two years.

After graduation, Lewis plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University for nursing.

Elizabeth Myers is the daughter of Ben and Mandy Myers.

She has a GPA of 3.88 and is ranked 16 of 82 in the Class of 2025.

Myers has attended four years of AP English and has been on the Academic Team for two years.

She has also been in Gifted and Talented for four years.

Other activities include band and choir for four years, during which she was Choir Vice President, and drama for one year.

Myers’ community involvement includes cleaning up the local museum garden through the Student Council, volunteering for the local children’s theater, and supplying presents for children through the Academic Team.

Myers has worked at the Lincoln County Farm Center and is currently employed at the Manvel Avenue Coffee Company.

After graduation, Myers plans to attend college and get a degree, though she is still unsure of just where she would like to attend and what she would like to study.

James Fine has a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Technical Honors Society. He has been on the A Honor Roll for four years, the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for three years, and is also a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Fine won Outstanding English Student in 2023 and Outstanding Math Student from 2020 until now.

Other activities include football and powerlifting.

Fine has worked with Fine Electrical Services, where he installed water meters and oil meters, delivered materials to desired locations across the lease, and ran hundreds of feet of wiring cable. He has also worked with Earthsmart Controls, where he built and installed panels in the field, repaired HVAC control equipment, ran wires to different locations of large buildings between VAV systems, and retrofit panels with updated equipment.
