Pamela Joyce Roberts, former resident of Davenport, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning ofApril 14, 2025, and was completely healed of Parkinson’s Disease. ShewasborninPonca City, Oklahoma, onAugust 20, 1950, to James Everett Gilstrap and Betty June (Hutson) Gilstrap.
Pam married the love of her life, William Harold Roberts Jr,. on June 14, 1969, and they had the most beautiful life together, raising their children and spoiling their grandbabies.They were married for 46 years, four months and 13 days.
She loved traveling with her husband Harold, her sister Kathy and brotherin- law Dave. They took many trips to Branson and other places where lots of laughs, eating, sightseeing and memories were made to last a lifetime. She could knit a scarf and matching hat in no time flat and loved giving them to her family and friends. Oh, and did she ever love to shop. When she lived with her daughter, Staci, and son-in-law Wes, theAmazon and UPS drivers knew their address quite well.
Among some of her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren lovingly called her Nanny, and she loved them with all her heart. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, James Everett Gilstrap; husband William Harold Roberts Jr.; mother-in-law June Roberts; father-in-lawWilliam Harold Roberts Sr.; and many others that have gone on before her.
She is survived by her mother Betty Gilstrap of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter Staci Mattheyer and her husband Wes of Davenport, Oklahoma; son Travis Roberts and his wife Jessica of Ponca City, Oklahoma; daughter Natalie Moore of Pawnee, Oklahoma; her “sissy” Kathy Archer and her husband Dave of Kansas City, Missouri; her precious grandchildren: Hillary Morris and husband James, Tristan Mattheyer, BrooklinMattheyerandher finance Cody Harrison, and Savannah Moore. Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and hosts of friends.
The family wants to give a very heartfelt “Thank You” to our Auntie Rayma Brewer and cousins Tracy Cleveland and Tina De-Lauri for all your love and support over the years. The family also wants to thank all the nurses and staff atVia Christi nursing home and ACG Hospice for taking care of our precious mom.
