What’s wrong?
They did it again.
They took a city treasure and tried to destroy it. This make the third time.
The Statistical building on the city park hill has had the doors torn off, windows broken out, ceiling tiles pulled down and the exterior trashed.
Why?
The history of the Oklahoma National Guard before statehood was unique. The mock battles on the courthouse square, the payroll in gold coin for summer camp that was brought up from the trsin depot were events no other city can claim.
And, it will disappear unless someone steps forward.
