James “Taco” Everitt Watkins was born September 4, 1961, in San Angelo, Texas. He died Monday, February 17, 2020, at the age of 58 years.
Watkins, the son of James Everitt Watkins and Rumula Juarez Watkins-Davis, married Donna Sebastian on June 12, 1982, in Meeker.
He graduated from Stroud High School in 1980.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister Tommie Jean Watkins.
Survivors include his wife; his daughter and sonin-law, Kendra (Watkins) and Alex Butler; and one grandson.
He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Shirley and Terry Wojtek of Sterling City, Texas, Theresa Henry, Tony Juarez, Bobby Juarez and Lawrence Brown; and other family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of His Life at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Meeker City Hall.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
