Curbside pickup at Stroud Library

Stroud Public Library has a new service in honor of National Library Week: curbside pickup of reserved materials is available by appointment. Please go to cityofstroud. com/librarycatalog and watch the instructional video. Use the library’s online catalog to search the library collections, place items on reserve, and view your account details. Then call us to schedule pickup April 20-25.

You will need a login for many online services. If you already have a library account - even an old one - you need only call us for that information. (Please note this is the same login as for e-books.) For those that do not have a library card, we have created a new means of getting a temporary card. This application for e-books only (not curbside) is found at our online catalog.

Cardholders can access our e-books and digital audiobooks from the OK Virtual Library from any internet connection. You may save your selection onto your device using the library Wi-Fi and read/listen to it without the internet later.

The library has updated its webpage of Educational Resources. This page provides links to a careful selection of sites for homework help for all ages, such as EbscoHost, the leading provider of online journals, newspapers and other academic references. There are also a few links just for fun.

A small substitute for our toddler-reading program, Tiny Tots Story Time, is now available through our Facebook page @StroudOKLibrary. Watch videos, meet Titus the Mastiff and listen along with him to some favorite books.

Remember, the return book drop is on the north side of the building at 301 W. 7th Street, Stroud.

Please call 918-968-2576 or email library@ cityofstroud.com if you have any questions. Staff will be available during our normal business hours Mon. & Tues. 9-1 and 2-6; Wed., Thurs. & Fri. 9-1 and 2-5; and Saturday 9-12.
