If we are not careful, we will get over powered by everything happening around us and fear takes us over. When we skip what is commanded of us to do, we find ourselves trying to do it all ourselves because of fear. When trying to sort out what to do without keeping His sayings we will find ourselves in a nightmare of deception.
The command to fear only God can not come till we make up our mind to do what Jesus said to do to enter the kingdom of God. We are to be like Jesus and that cannot happen in our own righteousness.
If we are not careful, we can find ourselves trying to speak things into existence when we are far from looking like Jesus. Man is easily deceived. In fact man will be deceived. Jesus taught simple steps to get away from ourselves so the Lord can take us over. Everything is worth looking at, and the sayings of Jesus teach us how to be transformed from the mind of pleasures to the mind of God that we might be Spiritual minded. The man we are will boast on our self or try to get others to give us credit for what God does. When we receive the glory there is no other reward left for those works.
A treasure laid up in heaven is an action of God in us because He is an action, and God is forever. Once you see an action of God you have seen God. You see His face when you see the person doing it. Let’s be on the lookout for His face and pray. Remember to stay humble.
