I’m sure on the beautiful morning of April 19, 1995, no one knew their lives were going to be changed forever at 9:01 a.m. Roy was employed by Flintco Construction Co. in Oklahoma City as a highly trained high rise crane operator. After the Murrah Building bombing, Roy was selected by the Secret Service, as others operators were, to assist in rescue and recovery. They would spend weeks working 12-hour shifts seven days a week. They were housed off site and transported back and forth by the F.B.I.
Every massive steel beam and massive concrete stone was moved in order to rescue and recover every person in this building and return them to their families. Every man and woman who worked tirelessly to achieve this goal, as did Roy, were true unknown heroes.
