The number of new cases in the area attributed to COVID-19 has jumped some in Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties, Oklahoma State Department of Health figures show.
But there have been no new deaths reported in either county since the last report.. The agency is releasing that information on Wednesdays so the most recent numbers provided here are from April 14 since this week’s edition went to press Tuesday night, April 20.
There have been 123 deaths in Pottawatomie County attributed to COVID-19.
Lincoln County has 69 reported deaths.
The number of positive cases has risen just a bit in both Pottawatomie and Lincoln counties, OSDH figures show.
The number of new positive tests in Pottawatomie County jumped by 70 and in Lincoln County they increased by 22, according to figures provided by the OSDH.
