Gary “Gov” Edward Miller was born to Frank Edward and Nellie (Day) Miller on November 3, 1942, at their home in Chandler. He died Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Oklahoma City.
Miller attended Chandler schools and served in the United State Air Force. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for L&M Construction.
He married Judi Ann Reid on November 12, 1969.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judi Miller; his parents; and his sisters, Jean Wade, Marlene Routh and Sharon Stewart.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Bob and Fleta Miller; his son Therin Miller; two daughters, Therina O’Banion and Therisa Wunderlich and husband Carl; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
At his request, no services will be held. Final arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
