Sunday, April 25

Ofc. Wells responded to Walmart to take a hit and run report. Surveillance showed the driver of a dark colored Ford pickup checked the damage after striking the vehicle but left without trying to contact the owner or leave information.

Monday, April 26

Ofc. Phipps stopped a vehicle on 3460 Road for defective lights. Brittney Nicole Wright was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of drugs (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday, April 27

Ofc. Phipps was informed of a vehicle that had run over a stop sign at 1 st St. and Prairie Lane and left the scene. The driver was located and stopped at Hwy. 66 & 910 Road. Leslie Jason Walkup was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving under suspension and a warrant out of Washita County. The vehicle was impounded.

Thursday, April 29

Ofc. Berry was dispatched to assist Sheriff’s Dep. Hyde in investigating an accident. In the course of the investigation, Lisa Jones was arrested on a district warrant.

Ofc. Batman responded to a traffic accident at First St. and Manvel Ave. involving LaDonna F. Dryer and Barry L. McKelvy, both of Chandler.

Friday, April 30

Ofc. Hawkins stopped a driver on Hwy. 18 for having an expired tag. The driver was issued citations for failure to pay taxes due state and no insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
