Randall Keith “Randy” McElroy of Newark, Ohio, was born December 19, 1956, in Levelland, Texas. He died Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the age of 63 years.
McElroy, the son of Homer Kendall and Ruth Lorena (Bales) McElroy, married Audrey Lynn Stillion on November 7, 1975.
He was a 1975 graduate of Zane Trace High School in Old Washington (Guernsey County), Ohio. Following his retirement from Dorsey Oil and Gas, he was a truck driver with M.K. Hardesty in St. Louisville, Ohio. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dresden, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife Audrey McElroy; his son Greg McElroy of Marion, Ohio; his daughter and son-inlaw, Dawna and William Walters of Proctorville, Ohio; two brothers, Vernon McElroy and Gary McElroy and his wife Darla, all of Davenport, Okla.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen and Rick Barezinski of Scranton, Kan., and Lindall Heavener of Tupelo, Miss.; and other relatives and friends.
No services will be held. Final arrangements were under the direction of Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home in Newark.
