Louise Jo Pryor was born August 16, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas. She died Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in Wellston at the age of 77 years.
She earned a master’s degree in special education from Central State University and taught elementary special education in Kansas and Tulsa. After moving to Lincoln County, she taught at Meeker and retired from Chandler Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents JP and Lillian (Rudell) Parker and her husband Lynn Pryor.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Suzanne Pryor and Jonna Warrick and her husband Rusty; two stepsons, Ralph Pryor and Kenneth Pryor and wife Bonnie; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Annetta and Don Neal; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Stroud United Methodist Church with Gerard Nsabimana officiating. Burial followed at Stroud Cemetery. Care Services were provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
