Davenport (2-1, 0-0) at Alex (1-2, 0-0)

· The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to two games after defeating the Alex Longhorns, 48-34.

· However, the final score isn’t telling as Davenport scored five-straight times on a 36-0 run from the first quarter to the middle of the second quarter to go up 42-14.

· Junior quarterback Carson Funk carried the ball 29 times for 141 yards, scoring two touchdowns 73 yards and one yard. Funk also completed three passes for 52 yards and a score against the Longhorns.

· Sophomore Tyler Harrison carried the ball 23 times for 202 yards and three scores on runs of 26, 13 and 45 yards.

· Senior running back Kyle Hobill rushed 11 times for 66 yards and scored on a 17-yard run.

· Senior wide receiver Cal Harelson caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. Harelson also recorded 13 tackles and recovered one fumble against Alex.

· Senior linebacker Jaxson Walker recorded a team-high 14 tackles.

· Senior cornerback Brendan Cow-an and sophomore safety Parker Mitchell each recorded an interception against the Longhorns.

Wellston (0-3, 0-0) vs. Mountain View-Gotebo (3-1, 0-0)

· The Tigers fell in a high-scoring affair, 78-66, to Mountain View-Gotebo this past Friday night.

· Wellston and Mountain View-Gotebo were both tied at 44 apiece at halftime before the Mountain View-Gotebo closed out the Tigers with a 34-22 run.

· Wellston out totaled Mountain View-Gotebo with 677 total yards compared to 606 for Mountain View-Gotebo.

· The Tigers threw for 260 yards at 17.3 yards per attempt and rushed for 417 yards against Mountain View-Gotebo. However, Mountain View-Gotebo rushed for 456 rushing yards at 12.3 yards per attempt.

· Mountain View-Gotebo went 5-for-10 on third downs and 2-for-3 on fourth down attempts.

· Senior quarterback Alec Hagar completed 15 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns. Hagar rushed 22 times for 315 yards and four more scores at 14.3 yards per carry.

· Senior Chisum Whitnah rushed 11 times for 102 yards and a touchdown.

· Junior McKoy Coulson caught 10 passes for 155 yards and three scores. Defensively, Coulson recorded a team-high six tackles.

· Freshman Tyler Evans caught two passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.

· Sophomore Colton Baldwin, and junior Joey Brown finished with five tackles.

· The Tigers have a quick turnaround with a Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. against Wetkuma (2-2, 0-0). The Chieftains are coming off a 52-6 loss at Dewar.

Prague (0-3, 0-0) vs. Luther (4-0, 0-0)

· Prague is looking for its first win of the season after starting 0-3 in non-district play. The Red Devils fell to Luther, 35-20

· Next up, the Red Devils start district play at Prague against Holdenville on Friday, September 27, at 7 p.m. The Wolverines (0-2, 0-0)
