Chandler heads to the First United Bank Tournament in Bethel this weekend, where the girls will face host Bethel at 7 p.m. in the first round.
The Lady Lions go into the tournament with a 2-1 record, having beaten Konawa on Friday night and Cushing on Tuesday after dropping their opener to Okemah. Bethel is 1-1.
The winner of the Chandler-Bethel game will face the winner between Bridge Creek and Perkins-Tryon at 7 Friday and the loser will play either Bridge Creek or Perkins-Tryon at 1 p.m. Friday.
The Lions will face Bridge Creek at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Chandler was 0-2 pending the outcome of Tuesday’s game against Cushing and Bridge Creek was 0-2 pending Tuesday’s game against Pauls Valley. The winner of the Chandler-Bridge Creek game will face the winner between Tecumseh and Perkins-Tryon at 5:30 Friday and the loser will play either Tecumseh or Perkins-Tryon at 2:30 Friday.
