    Lincoln County runners put on a strong showing at the state cross country meet Sarturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee.

    Meeker freshman Riley Randall medaled in Class 3A boys and the Meeker boys and Chandler girls teams came in with Top 10 finishes. The Chandler boys finished 14th.

    Meeker’s Braxton Bus-sell, also a freshman, ished 17th, two spots away from a medal.

    Coming after the heavy rain on Friday, the course was dotted with mudholes and large puddles that added a steeplechase feel to parts of the race.
