East Side Elementary School in Chandler had its annual last-day-ofschool Pre-K Rodeo.The rodeo included stick horse races, sack races, roping, cow-chip tossing and bronc riding.

When reflecting on her eighth-grade school year, Mattie Hurley, a freshman FFA member at Meeker High School, is reminded of how much growth has taken place and how many obstacles she has overcome. Living with highfunctioning autism and other medical needs meant being homeschooled until eighth grade.

The group gathered at the new OSU Extension Office building on the Lincoln County fairgrounds to put together thank you gifts for businesses that sponsor 4-H on Dec. 22.
