Seldom do I have accompany my wife Pat when she goes to buy groceries. Two or three months back though, I decided to go with her so I could help, primarily to push the cart and assist her once the groceries were paid for and bagged.

It irks me to no end when I hear of and see reports of a child and children who have been abused. The same is true with the abuse of animals whether it be a household pet or a farm animal.To me there is absolutely no excuse for abusing child or a pet.

Easter Sunday came a little earlier this year. I’m glad for that. Occasionally, it’s nice to have Easter prior to April.The entire Easter weekend, Saturday and Sunday, provided some really nice, warm temperatures.

The bricks at the Veteran’s Memorial have been completed. If you purchased one, stop by and take a look. Town Talk volunteers worked very hard to make sure there were no errors on the bricks and were placed in the area requested.
