Danny Scott Beatty

Danny Scott Beatty was born on December 27, 1976, in Sterling, Colorado. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 4, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Danny grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, with his parents Kenneth Beatty and Kathy Desmond until they moved to Wellston, Oklahoma, for the start of his fifth grade year. Danny graduated from Wellston High School in 1995 alongside some of the greatest friends he called “The Dream Team.” After high school, he moved to Chandler, Oklahoma, where he made a home with his two daughters, Rylee and Ashlee Beatty. He worked at Lowe’s for over 20 years until he spent the last two years of his life in Inola, Oklahoma. To describe who Danny was could take volumes, but there isn’t that much space in the newspaper, so we’ll stick to the highlights. Dannyhadmanylovesin his life. He loved to grill, often cooking more food than his gathered friends and family could possibly eat in one sitting. He also enjoyed racing and car shows. Danny liked to play “Halo” and was teaching his daughter, Ashlee, how to play. Music was a big part of his life - he played guitar and was in a band, making many life-long friends along the way.

Probably the one thing that everyone loved most about him was his sense of humor. He never took himself too seriously and wasn’t above getting himself into funny situations. He could have been a comedian with his humor, pranks and jokes. He was also dependable. No matter what it was, he was always there to help - all you had to do was ask.
