Embezzlement charge

A Chandler woman who was by Meeker police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in June has been formally charged with embezzlment.Lesa Manning, 64, was charged in Lincoln County District with one count of embezzlement.

A crowd estimated at 1,200 people was treated to a rousing fireworks show at Wellston Saturday night. The show was behind the elementary school and had enough fireworks to require an intermission. Communities around Lincoln County are gearing up for their annual Fourth of July celebrations this Friday.Chandler will host their annual fireworks display at Bell Cow Lake on July 4. Fireworks are set to go off once it gets dark.

Decision pending on hotel building

Judge Joseph Dobry asked lawyers to submit written arguments by July 2 to determine whether a preliminary injunction on the demolition of the St. Cloud buildings will be issued. He will then issue a written ruling.The hearing was held on June 25 at the Lincoln County Courthouse.
