Chandler hires teachers, adjuncts

Chandler Board of Education members this week hired several personnel and approved a number of committees. They also approved revised and updated policies. Hired as Secondary Teacher and coach is Randy Hedge, who last May retired after serving many years in the Chandler School District.

The cross-country season started with the traditional opening meet at Stroud on Saturday. Above, Chandler seventh-grader Fischer Harris competed in his first-ever sports event and finished the course with running buddy Jay Duncan. Meeker completes staff, accepts resignations

Meeker Board of Education members this week agreed to offer contracts to several personnel and accepted resignations from four others. They also voted to adjust student meal prices for the 2023-2024 school year to meet the required guidelines through the USDA school lunch program.
