Chandler lifters win

The Chandler High School Powerlifting team won the Small School Team Championship at Firelake Arena on Friday, Feb. 3rd in Shawnee. The Chandler boys team had 178 points to win the meet and the runner, up team was Davis with 107 points. There were 22 small school teams in attendance.

Class A, B playoff pairings released

The OSSAA has released its pairing for the Class A and B playoffs and will send area teams to three different sites. The official brackets will be released on Thursday. In Class A, Davenport and Wellston will go to District 8 in Area 2, at Coyle.

Jacob Jordan nailed a winning three-point shot as time ticked away Friday night, giving McLoud a 64-61 win over 8th-ranked North Rock Creek. The win lifted the Redskins to a 13-4 record, which they pushed to 14-4 Saturday night with a win over Jones.

The Dale girls won their third tournament of the season and picked up their 19th straight win by beating Silo, 60-57, in the finals of the Cashion tournament Saturday.
