Kollins Corea won third place in the Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry Oklahoma Poem Contest. Her poem was about the Rose Rock, the topic for 8th grade students. There were 643 entries from kindergarten to the adult category. Kollins attended the Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry Celebration in Locust Grove on April 11, 2026, where she read her poem and accepted her prize. Man charged with two felonies

Prague swept the team championships at the 66 Conference track meet last week, the girls edging Stroud by less than a point and the boys winning handily.The girls finished with 165.66 points to Stroud’s 165, and got the .66 of a point by virtue of a three-way tie for sixth place in the high jump.

Chandler’s girls golf team shot a season-best 366 Monday at Riverside Golf Course in Clinton and qualified for the Class 3A state tournament.The state tournament will be May 4-5 at The Territory Golf and Country Club in Duncan.
