Veterans Day is coming up next Monday, Nov. 11. The nation will honor all the brave men and women who have been, and those who still are, willing to serve their country.

Ex-sub found guilty

By Mike McCormick Staff Writer A Lincoln County jury has found a former Wellston substitute teacher guilty on two counts and not guilty on three and fixed punishment at three years on each of the guilty counts.

Stone wins at nationals

Ethan Stone, Chandler FFA, won National Championship honors at the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Oklahoma FFA team.Stone won the National Proficiency Award for Fruit and Nut Production.
