Bond reduced in manslaughter case

The bond for a California woman facing a manslaughter charge as the result of a fatal traffic collision has been reduced, court records show.A formal count of first degree manslaughter was filed in March 22 this year Lincoln County District against Ariel Navarro, 32, of Banning, Calif.

Bench warrant issued

A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Stroud man who faces two felonies.Sahlamon Marquis David Godwin was formally charged in Lincoln County District on April 9 this year with second degree burglary and larceny of automobile, aircraft or other motor vehicle.

Thomas Wayne Myers, “Chief” CMSGT US Air Force, was born January 4, 1938, in Neodesha, Kansas. He passed away April 29, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 86.Tommy Wayne was a born explorer, tinkerer, fix-it guy, question asker, fisherman, ornery, brilliant champion to all the people he loved.

Dan Roy Soderstrom, 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Chandler, Oklahoma.Dan was born on July 7, 1963, in Chandler to Joseph John and Grace (Edmondson) Soderstrom.Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Grace Soderstrom; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Carole Lynn Thompson

Carole Lynn Thompson passed away on Sunday,April 28, 2024.Carole was born on Saturday, September 7, 1946, in Stigler, Oklahoma, to Harry and Ruth (Snow) Flatt.She graduated Stroud High School in 1964.Carole was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi for many years.
