Arraingment set in Stroud homicide

A Stroud man facing a first degree murder charge related to the distribution of Fentanyl, a Controlled Dangerous Substance, has waived his preliminary hearing and his arraignment is scheduled.Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 6, 2023 against Dillon Young, 30.

Six area schools moved into regional slow-pitch tournaments this week. Chandler, North Rock Creek, McLoud and Prague are playing in Class 5A and Dale and Stroud are in Class 4A. Two teams from each regional will qualify for next week’s state tournaments.
