Tigers keep on rolling

Stroud rolled past Beggs, 49-21 Friday to charge into this week’s Class 2A-II state quarterfinals.They’ll take on the Wyandotte Bears at Jack Poskey Stadium Friday, with the winner advancing to face the winner of the Adair-Holdenville game in next week’s semifinals.

Chandler wrestlers medal at tournament

Chandler wrestlers brought home six medals from the 32nd Annual Mark Peck Westmoore Tournament.Those earning the hardware were: Landon Earp - 1st place Derek Perkins - 2nd Place Lizzy Pryor - 2nd Place Brylee Waldman - 2nd Place Jack Maguire - 3rd Place Lexi Ledford - 3rd Place.

Meeker appoints new judge

Meeker Town Board of Trustees this week appointed a new judge and set the 2026 Court Date schedule.Without going into executive session, the Trustees voted 5-0 to appoint Marvel Lewis as the Town judge. Lewis, in addressing the Trustees, advised them he has been an attorney for more than 20 years.
