Wanda Jean Bryson Threet was born August 21, 1932, in Harjo, Okla. She died Tuesday, April 11, 2022, at her home in Wellston at the age of 89 years.
Threet was the daughter of Edna Hogan Bryson Brison and the late Harvey Bryson and the stepdaughter of Jimmy Brison. She married Tom Threet of Archer City, Texas, on December 24, 1950.
She was of the Christian faith and attended Midway Assembly of God.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter Rhonda Fay Threet Selcer; two sisters, Lula Richards and Beaulah Minnix; and one brother, Charles Brison.
Survivors include her daughter Jeannie Shupe of Wellston; son Tommy Threet Jr. of Wellston, her sister Harlene Minnix of Grand Prairie, Texas; and brother James Edward Brison of Eufaula, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Midway Assembly of God with burial following at Wellston Cemetery.
