Gene Edward Webb was born September 18, 1935, and died Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was 86 years old.
Webb, the son of Charles Shelby Webb and Mary Charles Hill Webb, married Joyce Raylene Young on June 16, 1989.
He worked in the oilfield before he and his wife started their trucking company G&J Trucking, later leasing on to Acord Trucking. He attended Nazarene Church of Davenport.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one granddaughter.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Larry and Lynn Webb of Catoosa, Okla., Gary Webb, Kelly Webb of Missouri, Charlie Webb Stienlage and Tim Stienlage of Cushing, Okla., and Angie Dingman and Luke Simon of Stroud; 22 grand children; 12 great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert Earl and Carolyn Webb of Bristow, Okla., his sister and brother-in-law, Deborah Charlene Webb and David Allen of Bixby, Okla.; and other family and friends.
A funeral was held Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Nazarene Church of Davenport with burial following at Davenport Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
