1. Update on Chamber of Commerce

A. Wow! What an honor, the Meeker Chamber of Commerce presented me, Dickie Walton, the Citizen of the Year Award. One of the best things was how everyone kept everything so quiet. When Josh started reading information about the person that was getting ready to receive this award & he started saying things about me, I thought, why is he saying stuff about me, then it dawned on me; “I’m the guy.”

Thank you very much for all the support everyone has given me throughout the last almost 4 years.

We are all starting to see the fruits of all our labor. A lot of good things are starting to happen!

2. Update on 1.7 million Sewer Project

A. Atts. Allen Brooks & Nate Ellis conducted a special meeting with the Town Trustees. Chris Gander, SVP Investment Banker, from BOK Financial Securities also gave some advice about how to pay for the remainder owed that all the grant or principal forgiveness did not pay for.

Those amounts will still be worked on in the following weeks.

3. Update on Water Line & Sewer Pipe Damage

A. Several discussions with engineers have been going on before our zoom meeting with Julie Savig, USDA and Karen Conrad with Communities Unlimited. These groups will help us to pay for the winter storm damage.

It is a great asset to our community to have these groups that we can rely upon for the major cost of these damages.

B. More info. coming about our zoom meeting on Tuesday the 16th.

4. Update of Glenn Crest Park

A. Custom Cut Graphics Design has completed the entrance sign for the front of the park.

Also, Todd Thompson has made other safety signs for the park.

B. I met with Shallon Welborn with Top Turf & discussed final plans for new sod.

C. Robbie Hulstine will be mounting the sign with his beautiful stone works.

5. Update on Corona Virus

A. It is great to see that statistics going down.
