Darlene Hixon was born to James “Jim” Leo Hixon and Carol Hicks on May 17, 1960, in Cushing, Okla. She died Monday, July 19, 2021, in Tulsa, Okla., at the age of 61 years.
Darlene, formerly of Lincoln County, worked as a receptionist at a doctor’s office.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother Carol Murray and husband Ronnie; her stepmother Sylvia Dar lene Hixon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Stacy Beck and Robert and Cannie Smith; three daughters and their spouses, Angie and John Lindblom, Pamela and Donna Beck and Jessica; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jamie Hyde, Holly Horning and Tracey Love; four stepbrothers; four stepsisters; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the chapel of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, which provided Care Services. Pastor Mike Mitchell officiated.
