Cheryl Jean Murphy was born to Samuel Darrell and Beverly Jean (Hicks) Craven on Sept. 10, 1956, in Chandler. She died Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, in Stillwater, Okla., at the age of 63 years.
Murphy, a graduate of Perkins-Tryon High School, studied at Langston University and St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee. She worked as a respiratory technician at the hospital in Cushing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mark Murphy and brother Terry Craven.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew Murphy of California, Kyle Murphy of Edmond, Okla., and Jeffrey Murphy of Still water; her siblings and their spouses, Patty and Tommy Welch and Alvin and Carolyn Craven, all of Carney; and other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
