Karin Lee Togert of Guthrie, Okla., was born to William and Norma (Williams) Ward on December 14, 1946, in Chandler. She died Thursday, September 5, 2019, in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years.
She entered the workforce following her 1965 graduation from Chandler High School and retired at the age of 62.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Billy Ray Ward and David Ward.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Nathan Huffman of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; her sister-in-law, Sonja Ward of Okemah, Okla.; and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Smith Memorial Chapel in Guthrie with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home of Guthrie.
