The Lincoln County Commissioners approved intergovernmental cooperative agreements between the sheriff’s office and several local police departments at their regular meeting on April 20.
The agreements include the Carney Police Department, Kickapoo Tribal Police Department, and MeekerPoliceDepartment.
The Commissioners also approved changes to the Agra Rural Water District #4 boundary lines. A representative requested the change so that they could provide water to a few households that had wells go bad.
Other items that were approved were division orders with Freedom Operating and Jade Owls, oil and gas leases with Prime NGL, LLC, a resolution appointing requesting/ receiving/inventory officers for Prague Senior, and declarations of surplus for items from emergency management the sheriff’s office.
The commissioners took no action on a support letter for the Central Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization, saying they needed more information. They also tooknoactiononapproving plans with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma.
The Commissioners discussed transparency with data centers with Regina Riley. No action was taken, though they discussed the possibility of providing information on any calls made to the commissioners by businesses interested in building any major industrial projects in the county on the website.
