A 59-year-old man facing multiple charges for alleged sex crimes against minors has been been convicted of child neglect.Mark Leon Miller, Sr., of Midwest City, appeared before District Judge Sarah Bridge March 25 on formal charges filed against him on Aug. 15, 2024 in Lincoln County District Court.

Summer festivals return to Stroud, Chandler

Two local festivals are coming up on June 14 in Chandler and Stroud.In Chandler, the 24th Annual Ice Cream Festival is set to take place in Tilghman Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival will feature free ice cream from Hiland Dairy, inflatable games, and more.

A man who was arrested by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents almost a month ago has been formally charged in Pottawatomie County District Court with seven sex-related felonies against minors.TerryAlan Blankenship, 62, whose address is listed asTecumseh, was formally charged June 3, 2025.

Stroud man convicted of 7 felonies including robbery

A Lincoln Count jury has convicted a Stroud man of seven felonies and a sentencing date has been scheduled.Formal charges were filed Sep. 24, 2024 in Lincoln County District Court against Acey Ambrose Murphy, 33. He appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk the same day he was charged.
