I came home the other night and realized yet again that I had hit the jackpot.Kindra was there, which is the ultimate jackpot, but: she had cooked cornbread and butter beans.I pause here to say that this particular batch of cornbread was the best I have ever eaten.

A preliminary hearing has been continued for a Davenport man facing a felony drug count and two other charges following his arrest by a Lincoln County Deputy.

A preliminary hearing has been re-set for a Chandler man who allegedly obtained an OMMA license and OBN registration fraudulently and has been charged with trafficking illegal drugs and more than 10,000 marijuana plants were discovered and destroyed.

Three felony charges for former convict

A man convicted of a felony involving a minor a little over three years ago faces three new felonies, two of which again involve a minor.Formal charges were filed recently in Lincoln County District Court against Stephen Randall Bell, 41.

Texan charged with trafficking

A pre-preliminary hear has been continued for a driver from Texas stopped and arrested on the Turner Turnpike and facing a felony drug count after 62 pounds of marijuana were seized.
