Lincoln County has a new Election Board Secretary and staffer and they will assume their new duties effective Dec. 1.
Dena Jo Bromley will take office on Dec. 1.
The State Election Board also announced that Julie Alsip has joined the election board staff. Alsip has been named the new Assistant Secretary of the Lincoln County Election Board.
Melissa Stambaugh is retiring effective Dec. 1, after having served 22 years as Election Board Secretary.
Bromley, a retired teacher of 28 years, has worked at the Lincoln County Election Board since Jan. 10, 2022, as the assistant secretary.
Stambaugh says that she is leaving the office in good hands with Bromley and Alsip.
Bromley is married to Scott Bromley, of Davenport. They have three children, Zach and wife Marcy, Anna, and Olivia Bromley. They have two grandsons, Jett and Cam Bromley. In her spare time Bromley likes to quilt and spend time with her husband.
Alsip has been a lifelong resident of Chandler. She attended Chandler Public Schools kindergarten through 12th grade. She has three children, Jackson 23, Emma 21, and Weston 18. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Marshall Alsip.
In her new position, Alsip will accept Voter Registration applications, maintain registration records and be responsible for helping in all aspects of conducting an election.
