Praague BPA advisor wins award

Stephanie Greenlee, Business Professionals of America (BPA) advisor at Prague High School, was named Emerging Advisor of the Year at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, according to a press release.

“We’re also incredibly proud to celebrate our Advisor of the Year and Emerging Advisor of the Year -- both a testament to the strong leadership guiding our students,” said Mark Burch, Oklahoma BPA adviser and manager of the Oklahoma CareerTech Business, Marketing and Information division.

Additionally, Oklahoma BPA won 30 national championships, 21 national runners-up, 21 third-place finishers and 134 top 10 finalists, along with winning the Postsecondary Professional Cup.

“Oklahoma BPA truly shined at the 2025 National Leadership Conference, and our students rose to the occasion by demonstrating professionalism, leadership and dedication,” Burch said. “From showcasing their skills in national competitions to earning certifications and helping shape the future of BPA, they proved they’re not just preparing for the future, they’re leading it.”

The state took a delegation of over 400 students from 72 chapters and competed against almost 7,000 students from around the nation. BPA is a Career and Technical Student Organization for those who are pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, office administration, health administration and other related career fields, according to the BPA website. It has over 45,000 members in over 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico.
