Meeker rolled up 559 yards of total offense and stormed past Bethel, 46-7, in the Bulldogs’ district opener Friday night.
They’re one of four teams in the district with a 1-0 record, and face one of the others - Chandler - Friday night at 7 at Buldog Stadium.
Quarterback Treyvon Compton and runningback Ajay Lynch paced the Meeker offense, with Compton throwing for 239 yards and running for another 63.
Lynch ran for 207 yards and added another 31 in passing.
Compton ran for three touchdowns and Lynch for two, and senior Kayde Massey caught two touchdown passes.
Massey had 91 receiving on the game and junior Manny Saavedra had 100.
Defensively, Saavedra and Brayden Dowdle had a dozen tackles and freshman Roanon Wolford had 10, including four for losses.
After Chandler, the Dogs play at Kellyville, then go to Jones on Thursday of fall break week.
