A Harrah man already facing a felony charge of aggravated assault and battery has now been charged with an additional count while he’s in jail.

The kingdom of God is not talked about much, and I really don’t know why. Maybe it is because no man can go there, and many don’t understand how we can go there if man cannot go there. I cannot agree more of what all Jesus did for us, but I think we have left out something we must do.

Bond reduced in Meeker case

Bond for a Meeker man facing sexual abuse charges has been reduced and his pre-preliminary hearing scheduled. Two felony charges of sexual abuse with a child under 12 were formally filed April 4 against Jason Stuart Kirkwood, 42.

A bond reduction motion filed by a defendant charged with first degree murder has been denied and the prepreliminary hearings for him and another man facing first degree murder charges have been reset.

Dale school board

The Dale Board of Education this week hired certified personnel for the 2022-2023 school year and also hired a new Middle School principal for 2022- 2023. But board members tabled the hiring of a Secondary principal and an Elementary principal for 2022-2023.
