Arrests made in burglaries

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested several individuals reportedly connected with recent burglaries in a couple of different cases. In one, several driver’s licenses, Social Security cards and credit cards were confiscated. Some of those allegedly involved face multiple charges.

Lenora Nell (Zink) Kinder

Lenora Nell (Zink) Kinder passed from this life surrounded by her family on January 1, 2024. Her care has been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma. Lenora was born on July 26, 1937, to parents Herman and Murl (Reedy) Zink in Roswell, New Mexico.

Virginia Lou (Hurtt) Sherman

Virginia Lou (Hurtt) Sherman was born March 21, 1930 in Shawnee to Elmer and Pearl (Foster) Hurtt. She passed away January 5, 2024 in Norman at the age of 93. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, Alvin Sherman, son, Duane Sherman; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Carolyn LaDale (Hendrix) Downs

Carolyn LaDale (Hendrix) Downs was born May 18, 1948 in Page, Oklahoma to Terry and Lola (Cole) Hendrix. She passed away January 4, 2024 in Shawnee at the age of 75. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents,Terry and Lola Hendrix.

Donald Andrew Banta
