Marijuana issue fails

Oklahoma voters overwhelmingly defeated State Question 820 during Tuesday’s special election, that would have legalized recreational use of marijuana for persons 21 or over. With 1,745 of 1,982 precincts reporting about 9 p.m.

Cletus Ann (Ward) Simpson was born May 6, 1942 in Kilgore, Texas to Howard and Hazel Ward. She passed away February 22, 2023 in her home in Davenport at the age of 80. Cletus grew up in Davenport where she graduated high school with the class of 1960.
